Obituary

Donna Jean Gordon was born April 19, 1955 to Charles Sr. and Mary Gordon. She was the eighth child born in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she attended Cincinnati Public School and graduated. She lived with both her parents, until their deaths.

She then went to live with her baby sister, Jearldine until she went to stay at a nursing home, because of her illness.

She was childless, but she loved children. She was known as the “Candy Lady”. Donna loved playing all kinds of games with the kids, so she could give out candy to the ones that won the games. But the ones who lost, she would give them swats with her hand. She also loved her music, dancing and cooking. Her favorite song was “Let’s Get It On” by Marvin Gaye. Her favorite cooking food was chili. We all loved her chili. She also liked to decorate and drinking her Mountain Dew. She will be very well missed.

Donna was preceded in death by: both parents, Charles Gordon, Sr. and Mary Gordon; and siblings, Donald Gordon, Gwendolyn Smith, Joyce Gordon, Charles Gordon, Sr. and Jearldine Gordon.

Donna leaves to celebrate her homecoming: siblings, Charlotte Jeffries,HaroldGordon(Joshaphine),Deborah Harriston (Carlos) and Tony Gordon (Abony); her favorite niece, Charlene Litman (Dwight); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
