Obituary

Gary Lee Ware was the eldest child of two born to Deacon William Ware and Hazel Miller who preceded him in death. He departed this life on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 2:30 a.m. at Twin Towers.

Gary attended Withrow High School where he sang in the school choir and was a drum major in the band.

Gary had a passion for roller skating, good food and wearing his cowboy attire with the wide hat to match.

Gary joined the New St. John Baptist Church in 2007. He sang in the Mass Choir, served as President on the Usher Board in 2015, Men’s Ministry and volunteered where needed.

He worked at Nutone Factory where he drove for Transportation taking people to appointments. He really loved helping people, however he could, whenever they needed him.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his Sister, Deborah Stenson; Father, Deacon William Ware (Jean); five siblings, Amber and Damon Bush, Garrett and Laura Ware, Dorian Ware, Trae Ware, Darren Ware and Candance Ware; his fiance, Teresa Moon; five Grandchildren, Laila Ware, Gabrielle Ware, Chloe Ware and Omari Maxon, three uncles, three aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends until his health failed him.

A precious one from us is gone, a voice we loved is still.
A place is vacant in our home, which never can be filled.
