James Louis Miller, beloved husband of Lucy H Miller (Jones), for over 45 years. He departed this life to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 11, 2022, age 97 years.
He lived a full and productive life. He was a deacon and faithful member of the 1st Baptist Church of Hartwell. He traveled the world as a WWII Veteran. He worked and retired from the New York Central Railroad. He retired from GE in 1987 and finally also retired from RJ General Corp. He was a valued employee wherever he worked.
He was an excellent bowler with many trophies and awards. Nothing meant more to him than his beloved wife, Lucy and his children Sandra, Jimmy (deceased), Pat, Denise and step children Billy (deceased), Pamela and tony Hudgins (deceased) and his grands. He and his wife traveled extensively. He was well loved and lived a full and productive life leaving a rich love filled legacy. He loved God, his country, family and friends. he was his families’ rock. He had a unique sense of humor and his spirit will never be forgotten.
Visitation Friday, September 23, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at 1st Baptist Church of Hartwell 8408 Dixie Ave, Cincinnati, Ohio 45216.
Traditional Service on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM at 1st Baptist Church of Hartwell.
Burial at Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, Oh on Monday September 26, 2022 at 12:30 PM with FULL MILITARY HONORS.
