Obituary
Judy (Corbin) Samuels was born on March 2, 1936 in Clarksville, Tennessee. She entered into eternal life on Monday, April 19, 2021 at the age of 85.
Judy began a career working at the Housing of Urban Development. As she developed a love for entertaining, she further began working as a bartender where she was able to express her glowing personality to many people.
Judy married the late George W. Samuels and they had three children: George, Brenda and Nedra.
Many moments in her life were events that she seized with her spirit and joy. She was an amazing cook. She did not let anything stop her drive, she made her way to restaurants, concerts, parades, malls and loved to travel. She rarely met a stranger and did not hesitate to share a story with you.
For many, her laughter would brighten their day. The wisdom she shared with her friends and family was often unfiltered and well received by many. Her sought after advice caused loved ones to think long and hard about their decisions.
Judy was preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Corbin, her son, George Samuels and her loving parents.
Judy is survived by her children, Brenda Jenkins (Ronnie) and Nedra Samuels; sister, Jeannette Baldwin; grandchildren, Ernest (Petey) Jenkins, D’Andre Jenkins, Tracey Hyde, Yalonda Hyde-Morgan (Brian), Camille Knox (Clifton), Precious Carter, Aurelia Samuels and Montez Samuels; 19 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She carried special love for Freddy and Sherry Stonestreet as
well as David (DD) Drummer.
