Kenneth Nelson Showes, better known as ‘Sonny’ of Sonny’s Barbershop. Sonny opened his barbershop in Bondhill, January of 1976. Sonny’s was a place where you could get more than a good haircut. You received friendship, mentoring, sound advice and love. Sonny’s barbershop has been the longest standing business in the Bondhill district.

He was a very kind, gentle, loving and honest man. No one can deny Sonny was the ‘Coolest’. He was a leader, great friend, a loving husband and the best Dad ever.

The Lord Jesus Christ called him home. Sonny fought a good fight and finished his race and is going home to meet Our God.
