Maronique Nicole Sanders was born on August 20, 1996 to Joseph Sanders and Bridgette Donnelley. Known as “Mar” to her family and friends, she was always full of spunk and the life of the party. She loved a reason to celebrate.

She graduated from Dater High School in 2014. She then went on to attend Benedict College in South Carolinawhere she excelled and earned her B.A. in Criminal Justice.

It was during this time that she joined the prestigious sorority of Sigma Gamma Rho whom she was known as Sister “Zehro Tolerance”. She graduated with the honors of “Summa Cum Laude”. Upon returning, she decided to  pursue her Masters. It was also during this time that she earned her Associates in Early Childhood Education, also a Certification in Chemical Dependency from Cincinnati State, as well as a devoted advocate for the hearing impaired. Family was always first for her. The bond she had with her mother, was truly treasurable. She lived for her siblings and she took great pride in being a doting auntie for her nieces and nephews. She was exceptionally close to their youngest sibling, “Petey”. It was just three months prior that the loss of their mother devastated all of them. She vowed that he would be their #1 priority.
