Raushana Shabazz Sargent passed Friday, April 23rd, 2021. Visitation is Friday, May 7, 2021, 11:30 AM and Graveside Service, 1:00 PM, at Walnut Hills Cemetery Of Cincinnati.
Raushana Shabazz Sargent was born on December 18, 1994 to Bekkah Raushana Kinnon and Jerry Gwyn Sargent. She left this earthly home on April 23, 2021 to endure no more pain and to live in a mansion with many rooms.
Raushana was affectionately called “Shawny Wany” by her loved ones growing up. She attended Cincinnati Public Schools and graduated from Hughes High School in 2013. Shana was always outgoing and caring. She worked caring for others at Marjorie P. Lee Nursing Home until she became ill. She was selfless and would give her all at any time.
Raushana was the eldest sister to all her siblings and first born to both her parents. Her mother was her best friend and her father would go to any ends. She was loving and fearless; traits from her Papa Terry, whom she mourned dearly. Even in her illness, she cared for a special cousin/niece/daughter, Khloe.
Raushana Shabazz Sargent was preceded in death by paternal grandmother, Jacqueline Sargent and maternal grandfather, Terry Livingston; uncle, Damon Sargent; and sister, TreVonna.
She leaves to cherish her memory: mother, Bekkah; father, Jerry; her only loving brother, De’sean Kinnon; sisters, Briana Britton, Keeziah Britton, Yasmine Payne, She’vaughna Banks, Jaylana Banks, Janiya Sargent, Jahreal, Ziare and Trinity; a special aunt/sister, Virgie Sargent; cousins, Lamont, Kalise and Khloe; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins whom she loved dearly.
