Renay Doreen Dallas Mack, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and church member departed this life unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, July 11, 2021. She was born September 12, 1970 in Cincinnati, Ohio – the first of four children of Claude and Sheilah (nee Ferebee) Dallas Jr.
Renay loved people. She had a warm and generous spirit. She would always make time to lend an ear and give a hand. Renay would say a verse and give a testimony. If you were on her mind, she would call you. If something was on her heart, she would lift it up in prayer.
We are comforted by this physical transition because Renay always lived beyond the constraints of her body. Although she suffered from debilitating headaches and body pain, she always had a beaming smile on her face. She loved music and dancing, grooving to anything that stirred her feet and soul, from Janet Jackson to Tasha Cobb. Renay looked forward to going to exercise at the pool and encouraged so many to transform their lives and minds through perseverance and passion on their healthcare journey.
Having Renay as a mother and grandmother was an absolute blessing! She doted on her family and was happiest when she was surrounded by them. Renay had a servant spirit. She hosted many family dinners and gatherings. In addition to her coveted macaroni and cheese, people just looked forward to the fun times and conversations had in her joyful presence.
Gifted with many talents, Renay rarely met a stranger. This was demonstrated in her affinity, devotion, and direction as a preschool teacher and with customers as a healthcare representative at Humana and Walgreens, and when she volunteered in many ministries at her home church, Quinn Chapel AME Church.
Renay will live forever in the hearts of those she loved and who cherished her. Including her parents Claude L. and Sheilah A. Dallas Jr., her five loving children Brittney Antoinette, Ashley Renay, Corey Marquis, Chelsey Kierra (Shawn), and Jeremey Lemont; her siblings Robyn Rochelle, Sheila Denise (Charles), Claude Lemont; her grandchildren (Chelsey) Mason Mychael and Skylar Rain and (Corey) Jayceon and Sincere Armstrong and her mother-in-law Bettye Knowles through dearly departed Eddie Mack. Renay leaves behind nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and a host of friends, church members, and community members who will miss her sweet, kind, loving presence incredibly.
Renay Mack’s service will be held on Friday, July 23 at 11am at Quinn Chapel AME Church in Forest Park, Ohio. The family is appreciative of flowers to adorn service th. In lieu of flowers, the family requests reaching out to Sheilah A. Dallas or making a donation to https://www.conquerchiari.org/index.asp in Renay’s name.
