Obituary

Celebrating the Life of Our Mother

Wanda Ann Ferguson was born on November 13, 1963 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Elizabeth Howard and George Freeman. She was the youngest out of 11 children. She departed her life to be with the Lord on October 6, 2021. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Gary Jr. and Malcolm Brewton; her parents, Elizabeth and George; her two sisters, Diana and Elizabeth; and her brother, John. Wanda was a member of New Missionary Baptist Church. She also attended Cincinnati Public Schools and graduated from Aiken High School in ‘82’, where she then met Gary Sr. and they had three beautiful children. Wanda worked a lot of different jobs in the restaurant field. She loved dancing, playing cards, and just being around her family and friends. Her personality was everything and everyone knew who she was. She was “Aunt Wanda” to everyone, even those who weren’t related to her. Wanda leaves to cherish her memories with her loving daughters, Latasha and Latisha Howard; her grand-children, Tay’Riah, Latyirah, Nasir, Tishani, Keontae and Khyir; her great-granddaughter, Jah’Nyla; her sisters, Christine, Connie and Betty; her brothers, Walter, Ronnie and Jamie; and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends.
