William Daniel Rogers, beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on April 11, 2023, at the age of 82. He was born on January 31, 1941, to Dr. Frank M. and Agnes S. (nee Sullivan) Rogers of Shaker Heights, Ohio, the third of six children.
Bill graduated from Saint Ignatius High School in Cleveland before earning his bachelor’s degree from Walsh University in Canton, Ohio. He then lived in Spain, where he studied Spanish and worked as an actor in movies such as “Battle of the Bulge” in 1965. He later worked as a Spanish Voice Over Actor in Movies.
Bill was a natural athlete and remained active throughout his life. He was passionate about martial arts and kickboxing and often visited the downtown Cleveland YMCA. He was a devout Catholic and a loving son and brother to his family.
Bill is survived by his elder brother, Michael J. of Cleveland, his youngest brother, Dr. John P. of Cincinnati, John’s wife, Marge; eight nieces and nephews; and six grandnieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his eldest brother, Frank X., younger brother, Dr. Peter D., and elder sister, Mary Ann.
The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made in memory of Bill to the American Diabetes Association.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27th, 2023, at 10 am, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11 am at Clifton View Senior Living, 476 Riddle Rd. Cincinnati, Ohio 45220. Entombment will be private at All Saints Cemetery in Northfield, Ohio. Bill will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched during his lifetime.

Burial at All Saints Cemetery, North Field, Oh on Friday April, 28, 2023 at 1:00 PM.
