Obituary

Shirley was called home on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. with her life partner, Mr. Mark Williams by her side.

Shirley was the most outgoing, positive, caring and loving person you could ever meet.

Shirley graduated from Taft High School in Cincinnati. After high school, Shirley started work at Cincinnati Bell Telephone, where she retired after 30 years of service. After two weeks of retirement, Shirley got a position with Fifth Third Bank quickly, because retirement wasn’t an option for her! In her employment with Fifth Third Bank, she stayed over 22 years.

She loved music, movies, restaurant outings and loved the heck out of Judge Judy.

Shirley is survived by: three sisters, Mary Smith, Karen Patterson and Ainecia Patterson; one brother, Greg Patterson; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leave a very special friend, companion and life partner whom she met in 1975, Mr. Mark Williams, who was at her side when she passed way.

A precious one from us is gone,
A voice we loved is still.
A place is vacant in our home,
Which never can be filled.
