The Obituary
Shontel La'Trice Dugar-Wagoner aka NuNu was born on April 28, 1997 in Cincinnati, OH to Tommy Maurico Wagoner, Sr. and Shontay Angel Renee Dugar-Wagoner.
Shontel was educated in the Cincinnati Union Bethel Headstart, Orion Academy, and Cincinnati Public Schools attending Carson, John P. Parker, and Hughes STEM.
Shontel confessed her faith in Christ and was baptized at a young age at God's Gift House of Prayer where she served on the praise dance team and in the choir.
Shontel was an avid athlete, skillfully playing basketball, volleyball, and softball. She had a ball in her hand ever since she was three; her dad and brothers taught her to play. She was on Hughes STEM's junior varsity basketball team, was moved up to varsity, and in the top 25 percent of her class at the end of this school year. She loved being on Facebook, dancing, listening to music, shopping, and learning.
Throughout her life, Shontel touched the lives of many people favorably. On July 8, 2012 at 2:40PM, Shontel was called from labor to reward.
Shontel will be remembered as an "easy-going, fun-loving spirit who epitomized what a student, athlete, and good child should be; she performed academically, athletically, and respectfully."
Her memory will be cherished by her loving parents, Tommy Wagoner, Sr. and Shontay Dugar-Wagoner; grandmothers, Beverly Wagoner and Emily Frazier; great grandmother, Betty Cave; siblings, Shermecka Dugar, Timothy Dugar, Brandon Dugar, Tommy Wagoner, Jr., Asia Thompson, Brittany Wagoner, Kyle Bowling, LaTosha Richey all of Cincinnati, OH; and a host of relatives and friends.
