I spoke to you briefly Saturday at Crown Hill Cemetery, but wanted to follow up in writing so you may share it with your staff.

I have been doing missions with the Ohio Patriot Guard since around 2010. During this time, I have participated in over 750 missions including funerals, deployments, welcome homes and other activities in support of our military members.

During this time, your funeral home and staff have always gone above and beyond everyone else when it comes to the honor, dignity and respect to our deceased Veterans and family members.

I stand in awe and sometimes tears watching how passionate you are in making sure the flag is properly placed on the casket, your video tributes, the singing of Ray Charles and the release of the doves.

I was in the fire service for 36 years including 25 as Fire Chief and I know perfection does not happen without having pride in your work and the drive to do what is right, even when no one is looking.

Your staff is always friendly and welcoming to us making sure we have everything we need to help honor the fallen.
